Coronavirus continues to increase the death toll in Jharkhand where two more COVID-19 positive patients died on Monday.

Among them, one is 35 year old woman from Hazaribagh and another 65-year old man from Gaya in Bihar breathed their last at the state government-run RIMS hospital in Ranchi.

On Sunday,15 COVID-19 positive patients had died. Alongside, during the past 24 hours,585 COVID-19 positive cases were identified. This had taken the total positive cases to 18,338.

The good news is 71 positive patients were admitted at RIMS whereas 83 were discharged as they had tested negative. Across the state, 607 positive patients had tested negative.

In all, the death toll in the state stood at 240 on Monday.
