JEE(Main) and NEET-Undergraduate examinations are going to be held as per the schedule in September 2020 as the Supreme Court has dismissed a plea seeking postponement of these examinations.
Responding to a petition seeking postponement of the JEE (Main) April 2020 and NEET-Undergraduate examinations in September on grounds of spurt in the number of COVID-19 cases, the top court rejected it saying the precious year of students "cannot be wasted.”
A three-judge bench headed by Justice Arun Mishra said the career of students "cannot be put under jeopardy for long".
