India’ top space research institution ISRO has lifted up a Muslim woman in its list of scientists.

She is 35 - year old scientist Khushbu Mirza.She was promoted as a Director in ISRO, it is reported.

Mirza, who is an alumnus of Aligarh Muslim University, is only the 2nd Muslim scientist after Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam to hold this high ranking post in ISRO.
