Tata Motors, a company of Tata Sons located in Jamshedpur,has taken a major policy decision -hike in accidental death insurance for its employees.

As per its policy, if any staff of Tata Motors dies in accident, his family of dependents will get lakhs of rupees.This policy decision was taken in management committee of Tata Motors.

The family of the deceased will get money benefit under Group Insurance,Life Cover Scheme and Service Fund.”This amount will be near Rs 80 lakh to every employee”,said a Tata Motors officer.

“If the amounts of PF,Gratuity,etc is counted, the family of the deceased will get around Rs 1 crore”.
