Ex Bihar CM Lalu Prasad Yadav has got no relief from the judiciary with Jharkhand High Court today deferred for almost a month for hearing his plea for bail in the Rs 950-crore fodder scam. 

The court heard his plea and posted it for hearing on October 9.

 The case is related to the fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 33.67 crore from Chaibasa treasury during 1992-93 when Prasad was Bihar’s chief minister.

Yadav is presently undergoing treatment inside the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences' Director's official bungalow in Ranchi, Jharkhand. He who has been hospitalized for months now has been convicted in three of six scam fodder cases so far. In 2013, he was held guilty by a trial court in the first of these six cases against him.

Following his conviction, Yadav was disqualified from elections as well as from the Parliament.
