The Coal India Ltd's Miniratna subsidiary company Western Coalfields Ltd has got its new Chairman cum Managing Director. He is Manoj Kumar.

In fact, Kumar who was WCL's Director(Technical) was appointed as the CMD on Wednesday.

As per the WCL's notification, Kumar has been appointed to the post of CMD of the WCL till the date of his superannuation -- January 31, 2024.
