Ola Group CEO Bhavish Aggarwal revealed on Saturday that the first phase of the vehicle aggregator’s electric scooter factory in Tamil Nadu is close to completion.

The factory will have the capacity to manufacture around two million units of e-scooters annually and will also generate around 10,000 new jobs in what is set to the largest scooter manufacturing facility in the world.

Moreover, Ola is planning to set up a ‘Hpercharger Network’ that will include about one lakh charging points in around 400 cities across the country.
