Ms. Archana Joshi, General Manager, South Eastern Railway inaugurated the relocated office of Commercial Department of South Eastern Railway at SER Headquarters, Garden Reach today (14.02.2022). Sri Md. Owais, Principal Chief Commercial Manager and other Principal Officers were also present on the occasion. 

The Office of the Commercial Department of South Eastern Railway has recently been shifted to New Administrative Building (2nd Floor), S E Railway Headquarters, 11, Garden Reach Road, Kolkata-700043. Previously the office was functioning from New Koilaghat Building (8th-11th floor), 14 Strand Road, Kolkata-70001.

During the inauguration ceremony, General Manager laid stress on proper maintenance of the newly renovated office premises. With the shifting of the Commercial Office, now all the Departments of South Eastern Railway are functioning from SER Headquarters Complex at Garden Reach. This will result in better coordination among the different units of SER.
