BJP MP Nishikant Dubey on Friday claimed that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) are raiding multiple locations linked to Jharkhand Mining Department Secretary Pooja Singhal.

Writing on Twitter, the BJP MP said that as many as 20 locations linked with Singhal in Ranchi, Delhi, Rajasthan, and Mumbai are being raided.

Though Mr Dubey did not attribute the reason behind these ED’s raids, Singhal, who holds double  posts of Secretary( Mining) and Chairman of the state run PSU Jharkhand Mineral Development Corporation, has been facing multiple cases of corruption.

Singhal who was considered close to Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren who had appointed her in these two posts. She is alleged to have illegally allocated coal mines to a company in Palamau and had allegedly played a role in allotment of stone mines to Soren’s associates.
