A minority community man donates his land for temple for majority community. This has happened in UP.

He is a Muslim man. He has donated a plot of his land to the Shahjahanpur district administration so that a temple can be constructed. 

The land donation is linked with construction of a national high way. The work had come to a halt as the villagers were not ready to allow the district administration to bulldoze it for construction of the national highway.

In effect, project meant to widen the Delhi-Lucknow NH-24 was not able to make a headway in Kachiyani Kera village because of the temple. 

Aware of it,Babu Ali came forward and offered one 'bigha' (0.65 hectare) land situated close to the project. Subsequently, after the Shahjahanpur administration agreed, he gave the land so that the temple could be shifted there.

This was revealed by Additional District Magistrate (administration) Ramsevak Dwivedi. National News Agency  PTI broke this news today.

“Tilhar Deputy District Magistrate Rashi Krishna said legal procedures to transfer the land to the administration had been completed.”
