Nagendra Nath Sinha, Secretary, Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Rural Development has been transferred to the Ministry of Steel in the national capital.

As per the decision of the Government of India Secretariat of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions Department of Personnel and Training, Mr. Sinha, IAS(1987) of the Jharkhand cadre have been posted as Officer on Special Duty, Ministry of Steel with effect from December 1, 2022.

Mr Sinha will take over as Secretary, Ministry of Steel vice Mr Sanjay Kumar Singh, lAS (MP:87) upon his superannuation on December 12, 2022.

Mr Sinha is among 16 senior IAS officers who were transferred and posted by the GoI Secretariat of the Appointment Committee on October 19, 2022.
