Another case of gang rape has surfaced after one software engineer filed complaint in Chaibasa town of West Singhbhum district.

As per the FIR, 26-year old woman who is working from home was out with her boyfriend on a motorbike.This was on Thursday evening.

“A group of eight-ten men stopped them and beat the boyfriend up. They took her to the place of their choice and and gang-raped the woman, one after another”, a cop quoted the victim having stated in the FIR.

When contacted West Singhbhum Ashutosh Shekhar pointed out the investigation is going on to identify the culprits responsible for the alleged case of gang rape.

The victim woman works for a famous IT company. “ After gang raping her, the accused left her at the spot of crime after taking away her mobile phone and wallet”, said another cop referring to her complaint. 

Her boyfriend was not available for comment.” The victim managed to reach home and informed her family members about the sufferings she had to undergo.

Notably, despite lapse of two days of the alleged case of gang rape, police had failed to identify and arrest any accused so far.
