Telephone set with a facility to exchange voice and video.This means the owner can see the caller on the screen displayed near the handset of the telephone.

This is going to be made possible by BSNL.

BSNL is planning to launch its voice and video over broadband service for its consumers. The service, likely to be launched soon in Ranchi,will facilitate its customers to have video chat over phone. The facility has already been launched in Bhopal.

The cost of the telephone set with the broadband service can be between Rs 8000 and Rs 40000.”When the sets will be available in the market,we will start providing the conection”,said a BSNL officer based in Ranchi.
