Chakradharpur railway station yard witnessed death on the spot of two loco pilots Saturday morning. 

These two loco pilots were identified as TK Sahana and Md. Akhtar Alam.They were in the process of changing the engine of a goods train at yard of Chakradharpur rail division. 

Around the same time, Howrah Mail Express train coming at a high speed hit them, said a railway staff who gave an eye witness account of this tragic event.

They are learnt to have been crushed to death on the spot.While Sahana was a resident of Bankura in West Bengal,Akhtar Alam was a resident of nearby Banpur.

A sense of shock has gripped Chakradharpur railway division staff and officers. “ It’s very tragic accidental death of our two loco pilots”, wept a staff at Chakradharpur railway station.

While their bodies were sent for post mortem at divisional hospital where they were officially declared ‘dead’, senior railway officer Haritash Ranjan, Railway Hospital, Chakradharpur G Soren and their staff reached the spot and ordered for an enquiry.
