IT sleuths are busy in search operations in two states of the country. In Bihar and Jharkhand, they are conducting raids in as many as 20 places.

Information reaching Ranchi says that several places linked with directors and other personnel of two private companies Mongia Steel and Saluja Steel were raided on Wednesday.

The raids were going on in Jharkhand areas including Ranchi, Giridih, and Deoghar. Four places of these companies located in West Bengal’s Kolkata were raided, it is learnt.

These raids were part of a nationwide anti-corruption exercise undertaken by the IT department of the government of India.
