Jharkhand High Court has directed the government of Jharkhand to regularise the service of computer operators who have been working for over ten years on a contractual basis.
Responding to a petition filed by Uma Devi and others, Justice Dr. SN Pathak opined that the state government was making appointments only on a contractual basis.
In view of the Supreme Court’s order, the service of all staff who have been working for over ten years has to be regularized. So be the case of the petitioner Uma Devi, the court ordered.
Toward this end Narendra Kumar Tiwari among 30 other contractual staff of the state government are beneficiaries.
They were represented by two lawyers Indrajeet Dinga and Vipul Poddar.
