Hostel for Adivasis, Boundary walls for a school, Community hall, Sarna Sthal, Solar lit village, Beautification of cremation ground, Hospital building and many more.

These are some development projects implemented by the Rajya Sabha MP, Parimal Nathwani during his five year tenure in Ranchi.

Unlike many other MPs who represented this state only to build themselves, Nathwani not only worked hard to make use of MP Local Area Development Fund but even pumped in his own money to carry out a number of development schemes. This had transformed the lives of many Adivasis, non Adivasis and Muslims and helped him earn accolades in public.

Today,Nathwani came up with a book ‘Jharkhand Meri Karm Bhoomi’. His book starts with Swami Vivekananda’s quote “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is achieved” and ends with Mahatama Gandhi’s quote ”The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”

Apart from providing details of his development works with pictures, the book carries 548 questions connected with Jharkhand he had raised during this period on the floor of the House.

Seen in the picture is Nathwani with a school girl at Hotel Capitol Hill in Ranchi on Wednesday during the inauguration of his book.
