For the first time, tableaux from Jharkhand among 17 states and Union Territories and six from various ministries rolled down the Kartavya Path as part of the 74th Republic Day parade in New Delhi today.

The tableaux of Jharkhand showed the 12th Jyotirlinga of Baidyanath Dham together with tribal hero Birsa Munda.” It is a matter of pride for all residents of Jharkhand”, think Sumit Munda, a school teacher who witnessed the Republic Day parade in the national capital.

All 23 tableaux showcase a plethora of cultures from across India and brighten the boulevard alive with song and dance in the capital of the country.
