They were celebrating birthday this morning when an uncontrolled Scorpio crushed them resulting in the death of four and the critically injured two children.

The incident took place in Vishunpur village of Palamau district of Jharkhand. The deceased - all in the age group of 14-16-who were from the same village were identified as Ashish Kumar Chandrawanshi, Nitish Kumar, Feroz Ansari, and Vivek Kumar.

In protest against the villagers had blocked traffic on Chhatarpur- Dumaria road. At the same time, family members were reportedly involved in conducting last rights. 

The Scorpio, driven by Salim Khan, a resident of Dumaria, Bihar, was going toward Dumaria.
