The 90- day old protest launched by the staff of the ailing Ranchi-based PSU Heavy Engineering Corporation was lifted after the Central Industrial Security Forces and agitators were engaged in a tussle.

The tussle was due to objection raised by CISF against the posters and banners put up along the roadside inside the HEC complex. This was resisted by protesting HEC staff.

“ The conflict resulted in a scuffle. Then, CISF personnel removed the pandal and banners”, said a HEC staff adding that the CISF acted on behalf of the HEC management to end their three-month-long agitation. 

The agitators were demanding their “pending” salaries.
