Three days after five persons, including fr Vikas Hazra and his wife Prema Hazra, were killed in a fire at a hospital in Dhanbad in the early hours of Saturday, the police registered an FIR against unnamed persons on charges of murder without motive.

The FIR was filed by the son of the descended Dr couple Ayush Hazra at Bank More police station in Dhanbad on Tuesday. In his complaint, Ayush alleged that some “ unnamed” persons connived to destroy the hospital, and its property and murdered his mother and father without any motive to kill them.

Dr Vikas Hazra and Prem Hazra were renowned gynecologists and obstetricians of the coal town Dhanbad. They were owners of the hospital burnt in the fire.

Their nephew Sohan Khanari, 30, domestic help Tara Devi,70, a relative who had come from Bengal identified as Sambhu Singh,32, and a pet dog had also died in the incident.

The police have registered the FIR under various sections of the Indian Penal Code including 304 ( murder without motive) against the unnamed accused.
