Another IED blast triggered by Maoists in the Hathi Buru forest area under the jurisdiction of Goilkera police station in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand has left a CRPF jawan injured, according to the police today.

The IED blast was masterminded allegedly by band CPI( Maoist) outfit. The injured CRPF jawan was airlifted from the site and brought to Ranchi where he was reportedly undergoing treatment.

CPI( Maoist) led by Misir Besra, Anmol, Mochu, Chaman, Kande, Ajay Mahto, Sagen Angriya, and Ashwin were reportedly active in the Kolhan belt.

On a tip-off, the security forces launched a combing operation in the forest area where the IED blast occurred this morning, resulting in the injury of the CRPF jawan, according to the police.
