Stranded in Tajikistan, Jharkhand labourers have desired to return to their homeland Jharkhand. They communicated their desire through social media platforms.

Today, the state government’s Migrant Control Room has informed that it had approached the Union Home Ministry, and Ministry of External Affairs and appealed to the Indian Embassy in Tajikistan to help 35 labourers from Jharkhand to return home.

The state Migrant Control Room under the state labour department has sent a letter and e-mail to India’s Embassy in Tajikistan. The response from the Tajikistan side is awaited.
