The people of Jharkhand’s district of Jamtara, famous as a land of cyber criminals, has been in tension due to entry of a group of wild elephants.

In all, it’s a group of 28 elephants who had invaded Karma village in Jamtara and crushed to death one youth.

This has created a sense fear and tension among the people. The deceased was identified as Manoj Baski(26).

Responding to this incident, Congress MLA Irfan Ansari, Circle Officer Manoj Kumar, Jamtara police station Incharge Abdul Rahman reached the spot and took stock of the prevailing situation.

The dependent of the family of the deceased Manoj Baski has been informed that Rs 25000 compensation will be provided to him soon.
