Jharkhand Public Service Commission has sought applications from candidates for the post of Unani and Ayurvedic doctors.

The aim is to fill up vacancies of 285 doctors of Unani and Ayurvedic. Among them, 78 and 208 posts of Unani and Ayurvedic doctors were vacant respectively.

As per the notification issued by the JPSC, candidates aspiring to be Unani doctors can file applications by 11.45 am on March 31. So far as the candidates seeking appointments as Ayurvedic doctors can file applications till 11.45 am, March 11.

In addition, JPSC has to appoint Technical Education Director. For this post, the application has been sought from eligible candidates till March 23. The appointment will be made on the proposal of the technical education department.

The salary of the selected candidate will be 37400-67000 per month. For an appointment, criteria have been prescribed only for those candidates who were Principal of State Engineering Colleges/Principals of State Polytechnic college/state industrial universities/public sector/centre/ central government/and state-run PSU.

The age limit is 50-55 years as on 1.8.2022. The candidate aspiring to be Director of Technical Education will be selected by the JPSC only after his/her interview on assessment of 100 marks rating.
