An earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter Scale jolted Bihar early on Wednesday. 

According to the National Center for Seismology, the tremors were felt in Araria, at around 5.35 am today. 

The depth of the earthquake was 10 km, it said. 

There were no reports of any damage to property or loss of life due to the earthquake.

Another earthquake of the same intensity struck Siliguri in West Bengal, in the wee hours of Wednesday. 

The tremors, which struck 140 kilometres southwest of Siliguri, were first reported by the National Centre for Seismology (NCS).
