A good news is that Covid-19 no longer represents a global health emergency.

This was claimed by the World Health Organisation on Friday.This means  pandemic is now history.

Records show that  the Coronavirus pandemic has set its own record of sorts as it killed nearly 7 million people worldwide and wreaked havoc on the global economy

PTI report quotes WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus telling reporters in Geneva today that he made the decision following a recommendation from the UN agency's emergency committee. This committee had held a meeting on Thursday for the 15th time, the same PTI report added.

“I have accepted that advice. It is therefore with great hope that I declare Covid-19 over as a global health emergency.”
