Sattu drink or sattu sharbat is a healthy summer drink made with roasted gram flour. Roasted black chickpea flour is also known as chane ka sattu.

Notably, Sattu is a protein-rich flour made from powdered Chana ( Bengal Gram). It is quite popular in many parts of India such as Jharkhand, Bihar, Punjab, Uttrakhand, and UP.

Another point is it is liked and consumed in many parts of Pakistan also. 

Many times, Sattu is referred to as ‘Poor man’s protein’. It is the latest food that has gained popularity and is recognized as a superfood.
