After Ranchi, Deoghar, and Jamshedpur, two more cities in Jharkhand will get air connectivity linkage with Kolkata.

Since the construction of airports is almost over, the Airport Authority of India has reportedly permitted  Alliance Airways and Flyweek to operate flights from Bokaro and Dumka before the end of 2023.

As of now, almost 99.99 percent work of Bokaro and Dumka Airport constructions has been completed. This information was given by the Airport Authority of India, Ranchi. AAI Ranchi KL Aggarwal has said that Bokaro Steel Ltd has to complete the process of applying for a DGCA license etc. 

Actually, the AAI-Ranchi team has already inspected Bokaro Airport. After this, it held a meeting with the concerned officials of Bokaro Steel Plant on the airport premises.

Alliance Air, which earlier was a part of Air India, is currently owned by AI Assets Holding Ltd (AIAHL), a special-purpose vehicle formed by the central government.
