The first Vande Bharat Express train allotted to the state of Bihar and Jharkhand was given a rousing reception at stations across the two neighbouring states on Tuesday.

A large number of people reached Ranchi railway station to welcome the train in the morning when it departed for Patna at 10.53 am.

Later, the train reached Mesra, Hazaribagh, and Koderma and proceeded towards the capital city Patna of Bihar.

In all these stations, the train was offered a grand reception as it touched these railway stations in the state. Many BJP workers garlanded the loco pilot and distributed sweets to the staff.

Even students of BIT ( Mesra) were spotted offering flowers at Mesra station where the semi-super-fast train had halted.

In Hazaribagh, the train was welcomed with great enthusiasm.BJP workers and residents shared their happiness by offering sweets to the loco pilots and the crew members.
