Press Council of India has invited entries for National Awards for Excellence in Journalism.

The last date for submitting entries is August 18,2023

The Press Council of India is mandated by an Act of Parliament to improve standards of journalism and maintain Press freedom. It has instituted "National Awards for Excellence in Journalism". 

Award contains acitation and cash prize. Entries are invited by 18thAugust, 2023 from all journalists/freelancers/photojournalists of Indian Nationality for National Awards in the following categories in print journalism. TheAwards carry:
