Indian Railways has decided to add one more stoppage to the Ranchi- Delhi Rajdhani Express for the convenience of the passengers. 

The  Ranchi- Delhi Rajdhani Express will now stop at Lohardaga station starting from July 30.

There was a demand for a long time from the public that the train running from Ranchi to Delhi and Delhi to Ranchi be stopped at Lohardaga. The much-needed step will benefit a large number of passengers.

According to Railways notification, it has been decided to provide Train No. 20408 Ranchi- Delhi Rajdhani Express with an additional stoppage at Lohardaga station will reach Lohardaga at 6.53 pm, and after halting there for two minutes depart for Delhi at 7.32 pm from July 30.

This Rajdhani Ranchi-Delhi Express will move on this route for two days a week. The train no 20407 Delhi- Ranchi will arrive at Lohardaga at 7.30 am and depart for Ranchi at 7.32 am.

In the past, scores of passengers from Lohardaga used to cover over 73 km distance by road to reach Ranchi and travel by Rajdhani Ranchi-Delhi. Now, they will be able to travel by this Rajdhani Express train from their own homeland Lohardaga.
