A gang of extortionists has exploded a bomb on the dhaba- Khalsa- along Govindpur- Ratanpur GT road in Dhanbad. However, there is no casualty.

“ Only some areas of the dhaba Khalsa were damaged”, said the police. The bomb explosion took place this morning around 9 am. The dhaba Khalsa, set up in 1984, is owned by Gurucharan Singh “ Shera.”

Prior to his ownership, dhaba Khalsa was owned by Kaka Singh who had sold it to Gurucharan Singh and went to Punjab.Right now it is run by Gurucharan Singh Shera and his son Ranjit Singh. 

These Sikh father and son duo never had any confrontation with any person. Though they declined to make any comment, the police officials who were interrogating the bomb explosion case suspect that a gang of extortionists had exploded the bomb. 

The CCTV footage is being examined to nab the culprits. No arrest was made in this connection till 3 pm on Monday.
