The Indian men’s squash team clawed its way back in a tense final against Pakistan to win a gold medal — India’s 10th at Hangzhou 2023. 

The veteran Saurav Ghosal and the young Abhay Singh were the stars of the show as India came from behind for the title. 

Another Gold was gained by India’s Rohan Bopanna and Rutuja Bhosale. They had also claimed a gold medal in the mixed doubles tennis event, after overturning a one-set deficit to win the final. 

Alongside,, Sarabjot Singh and Divya TS bagged the silver medal in the 10m air pistol mixed team event after losing in the finals to Chinese pair of Zhang Bowen and Jiang Ranxin at the Asian Games on Saturday. 

Lovlina Borgohain also assured India of a boxing medal. Elsewhere, fans will be in for a double treat as there are two India vs Pakistan clashes on the cards in the 7th day of the Asian Games. 

The first is when the Indian men’s squash team take on Pakistan in the final and the second one is on the hockey field where Harmanpreet Singh and co will clash with the Men in Green.
