One of the Paramgurus of Yogoda Satsanga tradition Yogavatar Lahiri Mahasaya’s Avirbhav was commemorated in the midst of joy permeated ambience of Yogoda Ashram, Ranchi on the 30th of September.

Commemoration began with a special group meditation of one and a half hour in the Morning and then from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Brahmacharis Ekatwananda and Vivek led a devotional sankirtan which was joined by devotees attending the program while Guru puja was being performed.
 

After the sankirtan, prasad was distributed to the devotees and sannyasis present there. About 200 devotees participated in this event.

The celebration of this special day ended with a three-hour-long meditation in the evening, where Swami Ameyananda read some anecdotes and teachings of Lahiri Mahasaya.
