Instead of appearing before the investigating agency,Chief Minister Hemant Soren left his house, crossed the office of the Enforcement Directorate, entered into the state government run hanger and flew to Dumka and Jamtara. 

The ED had summoned Soren to question him on December 12 in money laundering case connected with land scam and illegal mining case. 

This was the sixth summon. And Soren preferred not to abide by the ED’s summon for sixth time. At Jamtara and Dumka, CM Soren is scheduled to participate in official meetings. 

Since in its summon-letter dated December 9-10, the ED had given him less than 48 hours to appear before it for questioning and his Jamtara and Dumka programmes were scheduled earlier, Soren preferred not to escape these meetings and politely rejected ED’s summon.
