Jharkhand team lost in the qualifying round of UTT 85th Senior National and International State Table Tennis Championship in Panchkula, Chandigarh. The Jharkhand team lost in both the Men’s and Women’s qualifying rounds. 

Jharkhand team has failed to qualify for the main draw match. However, the Jharkhand team defeated Manipur 3-1 and then lost to Utrakhabd 0-3. 

Jharkhand Women’s team lost to Karnataka 3-0. 

“We are feeling sad for the washout of our state team”, said Rajendra Jaiswal, a senior table tennis player in Jharkhand.
