Three days after it raided their premises and seized materials, the Enforcement Directorate issued summons to three associates of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. 

They are Sahibganj Deputy Commissioner Ram Niwas Yadav, architect Vinod Singh, and CM’s press advisor, Abhishek Prasad. On January 3, the federal agency carried out the raids on their 12 premises in connection with money laundering linked with land scam and an illegal mining case.

The agency had seized mobile phones, huge cash, weapons, and digital documents. Now, the ED has summoned Sahibganj DC Ram Niwas Yadav, architect Vinod Singh, and CM’s Press Advisor Abhishek Prasad alias Pintu on January 11, January 15, and January 16, 2024 respectively. 

The ED has also summoned architect Vinod Singh, who is said to be close to Chief Minister Hemant Soren, on January 15. It has called CM’s press advisor, Abhishek Prasad alias Pintu, on January 16.
