Even though he is in jail,the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has hooked him up and arrested Revenue Inspector of Bargain,Bhanu Pratap Prasad.  

According to the ED,Prasad was part of a syndicate involved in corrupt practices of acquiring properties either forcefully or on the basis false deeds, falsification of government records, tampering with original revenue documents, and so on. 

 Since he was in jail, the ED took him into custody into another land fraud case in which the ED has arrested former Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He is the prime accused in the case. 

 Information available indicates that Bhanu Pratap had “assisted” Soren in illegally acquiring properties, including 8.5 acres of land in Bariatu, Ranchi. The PMLA court is expected to decide whether he can be handed over to the ED for custodial interrogation on Monday.
