After it conducted raids and recovered mountain of digital equipments and Rs 35 lakh cash from premises of Congress MLA Amba Prasad on Tuesday, Enforcement Directorate is gearing to grill her. 

“Summon will be served and she will be interrogated for a number of charges”, a source disclosed on Friday. She who represents Barkagaon in Chatra district of Jharkhand has garnered umpteen immovable and movable properties. 

The ED sleuths had carried search operations at her Hazaribagh residence and others in Jharkhand as part of a money laundering investigation. 

 Notably, a number of FIRs related to alleged illegal sand mining, extortion, and some other crimes have formed the basis of the ED action being undertaken under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA). 

However, she and her mother Nirmala Devi had said that the ED had raided the premises of her just to break her morale ahead of the Lok Sabha polls. 

 Her father Yogendra Sao and other members of her family more than 15 FIRs were filed in police stations of Hazaribagh district under various sections of the IPC 1860, possession of illegal arms and so on.
