A land dealer Krishnakant has committed suicide, according to a report sited by the police in Ranchi.  

Krishnakant, who resided in Silver Dale apartment in Lalpur,Ranchi,was taken to the private hospital where he was declared dead on Thursday morning. 

Lalpur Police station in- charge Adikant Mahato informed that he had been told by family members that Krishnakant had committed suicide.

“ We have been told that for some time, Krishnakant was on tension and distress”, said Mahato. The post mortem report of Krishnakant is awaited. “ 

Investigation is going on”, said the Officer- In- Charge of Lalpur police station.
