The humid heat in Jharkhand, particularly in Kolhan, has left the residents miserable. However, weather experts from the Meteorological Department Ranchi Center have forecasted relief due to cyclonic storm Ramal. 

The storm is expected to affect Jharkhand, bringing relief from the sweltering conditions on Sunday. From May 26 to 28, the eastern, central, and southern parts of Jharkhand are likely to experience strong thunderstorms accompanied by thunder. 

On Saturday, Jamshedpur recorded a maximum temperature of 38.2 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 27.2 degrees Celsius. 

Four districts recorded temperatures above 40 degrees, with Seraikela at 40.6 degrees, West Singhbhum at 38.3 degrees, and Baharagora at 38.6 degrees. 

The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for several districts on Sunday. There is a possibility of thunderstorms in Simdega, Gumla, Latehar, Hazaribagh, Koderma, Giridih, Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Sahebganj, and Pakur. Rain with dust storms is expected in Jamtara, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Ramgarh, Ranchi, Khunti, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Seraikela-Kharsawan. 

During this period, wind speeds are expected to range between 40 to 50 km per hour.
