Hemant Soren awaits Jharkhand Governor’s call for taking oath as CM - Jharkhand State News

JMM awaits response of the Governor CP Radhakrishnan after Chief Minister Champai Soren handed over his letter of resignation and Hemant Soren requested him to administer him oath as Chief Minister of Jharkhand tonight.

However, though he accepted his resignation and directed him to continue to hold the office of the CM till further order,Governor CP Radhakrishnan has not shown inclination to administer him oath.

Prior to meeting the Governor Radhakrishnan, I.N.D.I.A block leaders and legislatures had unanimously elected Hemant Soren as leader of the Legislature party in a meeting held inside official residence of the Chief Minister in Kanke Road, Ranchi on Wednesday afternoon.
