Union Home Minister Amit Shah who is a top BJP leader, spent a day in Ranchi meeting ex ministers, party office bearers and workers, a cross-section of people - including media persons - and addressed a public meeting. 

The meeting of BJP’s extended state committee was held at Prabhat Tara Maidan. 

Attended by a huge number of party workers from all across the state, top saffron leaders ex CMs Arjun Munda, Babulal Marandi, Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan who is party’s Incharge, stood together with Amit Shah on the podium of the meeting. 

It was part of Amit Shah’s ongoing programme to energise the party machine by visiting every state where assembly elections are scheduled before the end in 2024 in Maharashtra, Haryana, and Jharkhand. 

Addressing the BJP’s state unit’s extended party workers and office bearers, Amit Shah said that Jharkhand is the land of sacrifice made by Bhagwan Birsa Munda. In this state, the BJP had won 9 out of total 14 Lok Sabha seats in recently held general elections. 

Among these Lok Sabha constituencies, there were 81 Assembly Constituencies out of which there were 52 Assembly seats where BJP and its ally AJSU had gained more votes than others. 

Many times, politicians developed ego after winning the polls.In Jharkhand,however, those politicians who were at the helm of affairs and were ruling the state, had developed “ ego” after losing the polls, said Union Home Minister.

“In Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi’s commotion and stir in the Lok Sabha… even the winners of two thirds seats don’t get this kind of ego”, he said as the audience laughed. 

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said : Listen in Hemant Soren… BJP will form the government…It is going to be formed … ( Right now) Watching arrogance of the defeated ones for the first time…”
