*Parents of the victim students of DAV Gandhi Nagar school at Gonda police station, Ranchi
The FIR lodged at Gonda police station in Ranchi today alleged that a dozen students were beaten up severely by a sports teacher. A dozen of them carry signs of injuries on their bodies.
This has left their parents in distress and angry. The parents of the same school students on Wednesday lodged the FIR giving details of the crime against the sports teacher Ayush.They were demanding legal action against Ayush.
The incident took place on July 22.
As per the FIR, students of the DAV, Gandhi Nagar, school had gone to Bokaro to participate in the Inter- School Sports competition. Some students failed to perform.
“When these students returned to school, the sports teacher Ayush locked them in a room,clothed the CCTV camera and beat them up mercilessly”, alleged the FIR.
Since several students were injured, parents turned up and protested against the “ barbaric act” of the sports teacher Ayush inside the DAV, Gandhi Nagar school.
Though the school principal promised to set up an enquiry committee and announced that if the Sports teacher Ayush is found guilty, strict action will be taken against him. This, however, does not seem to have pacified the parents.
One of them who identified himself as Sunita Kumari has urged the police to take legal action against the Sports teacher Ayush who was not available for comment.
