The Higher Educational institutions play an important role in the development of individuals, families, and society by laying the foundation of a strong nation. Their goal is to enrich all fields of knowledge, inculcate a sense of responsibility, and enhance the inner potential of an individual.

The transition from school to university is one of the most challenging events in a student's life. When new students enter an institution, they come with diverse thoughts, backgrounds, and preparations.

They step into a new, unfamiliar environment. To address these challenges, NUSRL, Ranchi has successfully conducted the Student Induction Programme designed to help new students adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment, inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution, help them build bonds with other students and faculty members, and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self-exploration.

The Student Induction Programme engages with the new students as soon as they come into the institution before regular classes start. At the start of the induction, the incumbents learn about the institutional policies, processes, practices, culture, values, examination rules, class protocol, etc.

This year, the programme -launch event was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) G.S. Bajpai, the Vice Chancellor of National Law University Delhi, as the Chief Guest.
