Development can diagnosis poverty.The government is working for it.But few political parties and organisations were trying to confuse people,We should be cautious about them.When they were in government,they did not do anything for the poor,neglected,and adivasis.They only filled up their pocket.Now,they were fooling people and putting obstacles in the process of development.When we will go to people in the 2019 elections,we will give them full details about our works.”

This was said by Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das while launching the Narendra Modi government’s prime project-Deen Dayal Upadhaya Gram Jyoti Yojna at Kochbang village under Namkom block in Ranchi district on September 7,2016.

Incidentally,the Yojna is designed to provide continuous power supply to rural areas in the country including Jharkhand.

While addressing the meeting Das said,in the first phase under the project,5480 damaged transformers in the state will be replaced byNovember 15,2016.The state will spend Rs 400 crore on this ambitious project.

The meeting was attended among others by the BJP MP from Ranchi Ram Tahal Choudhary,MLA from Khijri Ram Kumar Pahan,Bal Sarakchan Yayog president Arti Kujur and Additional Chief Secretary incharge of the Energy Department RK Srivastava.
