Shock and grief have engulfed Tupudana in Ranchi district where four persons belonging to a family had lost their life due to bee attack. 

The deceased included a woman, her two daughters, and her cousin. The incident took place on Sunday when the family went to bathe in a pit dug at a field near their village in Tupudana. “  They were suddenly surrounded by bees from a nearby bush.In a panic, the woman jumped into the pit with her daughters to escape the stings.  

Reports state that the woman’s injured cousin managed to flee to the village to seek help. Villagers and relatives rushed and retrieved the three victims, but it was too late, and they were declared dead. 

The injured cousin who was taken to the RIMS hospital where he also succumbed to his injuries.
