Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested two accused including a Manager (Scale E-5), Syampur "B" Colliery, and a General Majdoor while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs. 20,000/- from the complainant. 

A case was registered by CBI on a complaint by a General Majdoor, Syampur "B" Colliery Mugma Area, Nirsa, Dhanbad against accused Manager (Scale E-5), Syampur "B" Colliery. 

It was alleged that said accused Manager demanded Rs. 50000/- as an undue advantage for retaining the complainant at 'Magazine Room', his present place of posting otherwise, the complainant suspected that the accused would send the complainant to other places in the same colliery.

During the investigation, the accused directed the complainant to hand over the bribe amount of Rs. 20000/- to another General Majdoor (his conduit)in the same Colliery. 

CBI laid a trap and caught said conduit General Majdoor red-handed while demanding and accepting the bribe of Rs 20000/- on behalf of the main accused. 

Later, the CBI arrested both the accused. Searches are also being conducted at the premises of the accused. Both the arrested accused will be produced before the Competent Court. The investigation is continuing.
