Ajay Singh,1989 batch IPS officer, has been appointed as 15th DGP, Jharkhand.
He took charge of his post this evening.
Ajay Singh has been appointed DGP for the second time.
After the Election Commission removed acting DGP Anurag Gupta, the state government, following its directive,sent a list of officials following which Ajay Singh was picked up and appointed as DGP.
A notification toward this end was issued by the state Home Department.
